Hello readers,
I'm continuing to swatch my way through my Femme Fatale Cosmetics collection and have six more polishes to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Witchful Thinking
Witchful Thinking feature a clear base filled with a variety of glitters in shades of silver, black and iridescent blue along with a sprinkling of blue shimmer. I used it as a topper here. Application was relatively easy, no issues getting glitters out of the bottle and I got good coverage with a single coat. This topper does dry down with some glitter bumps so top coat is best for a smooth finish. Maddening Whispers
Maddening Whispers features a deep blurple base filled with scatter holo shimmer and a strong green sheen. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Maddening Whispers with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Desolate
Desolate features a muted purple base filled with strong purple to gold-green shifting shimmer, tiny blue glitters and small silver holo glitters. The formula was nice to work with and fairly pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. It does dry with some glitter bumps to top coat is recommended for a smooth finish. Water Hyacinth
Water Hyacinth features a turquoise crelly base filled with a variety of magenta, pink and white glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with. I found floating the brush slightly gave me better glitter distribution. Photos show three coats of Water Hyacinth with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Alien Atmosphere
Alien Atmosphere features a deep purple crelly base filled with a mix of holo aqua and blue glittters. Unfortunately I found the formula tricky to work with. The glitters tended to drag and it was easy to get sheer spots. I found the best approach was to wait for the previous coat to dry down a lot before going in with the next. Photos show three coats of Alien Atmosphere with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Stormrune
Stormrune features a berry jelly base filled with blue shimmer, small copper-orange flecks and small gold holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage, though it was super close after two. It did dry down with some minor texture so top coat is recommended. Final Thoughts
My personal favorite from this selection is Stormrune. You can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on
