Hello readers,
Today I'm pulling out some shades from my China Glaze collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Sea Spray
Sea Spray features a pale blue base with a subtle silver pearl shimmer. The formula was nicely pigmented for such a light shade. I used two coats here for full coverage. I found slightly floating my brush avoided any shimmer brush strokes marks. Photos show two coats of Sea Spray with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
DJ Blue My Mind
DJ Blue My Mind is a bright ocean blue crelly. The formula was easy to work with. I used three coats here for full coverage but it was close enough after two that two may be enough for some. Photos show three coats of Sea Spray with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Glistening Snow
Glistening Snow features a clear base packed with silver holo microglitters. The formula was easy to work with though dries down quite textured. I doubled up on top coat here for a smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Glistening Snow with one coat of Watcha Top Glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Fade Into Hue
Fade Into Hue is a periwinkle blue creme. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here but it was so close after two that two may be enough for some. Photos show three coats of Fade Into Hue with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Sexy In The City
Sexy In The City is a peacock blue shimmer. The formula started out sheer but built up nicely in three coats. Photos show three coats of Sexy In The City with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
First Mate
First Mate is a navy blue creme. The formula was excellent. You're looking at a single coat. Photos show one coat of First Mate with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from this selection are Fade Into Hue, Glistening Snow and First Mate. You can find China Glaze on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
