Hello readers,
Today I have the last six shades from my WingDust Collections collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Surreal Teal
Surreal Teal is a medium teal green shimmer with shifts to gold and blue. The formula was very easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Surreal Teal with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Northern Lights
Northern Lights features a shimmery mint green base filled with scatter holo shimmer and small metallic flakies in shades of magenta, green and gold. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Northern Lights with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Moonrock
Moonrock features a muted blurple base filled with scatter holo shimmer and small metallic flakies in shades of blue, purple and orange. The formula was very easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Moonrock with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Hawkins, Indiana
Hawkins, Indiana features a navy base with a deep purple shimmer, tiny silver flecks and small teal flakes. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two coats for full coverage. I do find top coat does help bring out the shimmer. Photos show two coats of Hawkins, Indiana with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Borrow A Feeling
Borrow A Feeling features a purple (cold) to blue (warm) shifting thermal base with a scatter holo shimmer and tiny purple flecks. My bottle is several years old at this point so the shift isn't as strong as it used to be, but it's still there. I used three coats here for full coverage. This shade dries down to a waxy matte finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show three coats of Borrow A Feeling with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Secret Location
Secret Location features a charcoal (cold) to pale grey (warm) shifting thermal base filled with scatter holo shimmer and small metallic flakies in shades of blue, purple and green. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Secret Location with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from these six are Surreal Teal and Moonrock. Unfortunately CANVAS Lacquer isn't in business anymore so you'll have to search destash sales for these shades.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
