Hello readers,
Today I have the Zoya EasyNeon collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Banks
Banks is a saturated royal purple jelly, though I don't think I'd call it a neon colour. The formula was patchy and sheer. I did three very careful coats here and the finish still wasn't quite consistent. This shade also dried down darker than it appears in the bottle with a rubbery matte finish. Top coat is needed for shine. Photos show three coats of Banks with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Echo
Echo is a bright saturated caribbean blue jelly. My photos do not due it justice, it's even more vibrant in real life. This one also took three coats but I was able to build it up to full coverage, though I went for slightly thicker coats than I normally do to get there. Echo dries with a rubbery matter finish so glossy top coat is recommended if you want shine. Photos show three coats of Echo with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Janie
Janie is a hot pink jelly. The formula was fairly easy to work with though sheer. After three coats my nail lines still show through a little. This shade dries down with a rubbery matte finish so add top coat for shine. Link
Link is a bright lime green jelly. The formula was fairly easy to apply but sheer. Again I can still see the tips of my nails showing through a little. This shade dries to a rubbery matte finish so add top coat if you want shine. Photos show three coats of Link with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Oakley
Oakley is a bright tangerine orange jelly. The formula was easy to work with though sheer. After three coats you can see my nail lines pretty clearly. Oakley dries to a rubbery matte finish so glossy top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Oakley with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Zelda
Zelda is a bright coral pink jelly. This had the same easy to work with though somewhat sheer formula as the majority of this collection. Zelda dries down to a rubbery matte finish so add top coat for shine. Photos show three coats of Zelda with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorite from this release is Echo. It's the only shade I was able to build up to full coverage and it really is a beautiful blue. For the most part, these jellies were too sheer for me. If you're ok with sheer polishes or you have shorter nails that may not be an issue for you. Oakley and Zelda were the closest shades to true neons here, the rest were more bright and saturated but not what I'd call neon. The Zoya EasyNeon Collection is available now. You can find Zoya on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
