Today I have Emily de Molly's May release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Dead To The World
Dead To The World features a garnet red jelly base filled with small red hex glitters. The formula was excellent and very pigmented. I used two coats here for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Dead To The World with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Example Sentences
Example Sentences features an aqua blue crelly base filled with small glitters in a rainbow of colours. The formula was easy to work with. I used three coats for full coverage here, but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. Give Me A Remedy
Give Me A Remedy features a bright red jelly base filled with a copper magnetic shimmer and silver hex glitters. The formula was super pigmented. If you're wearing it unmagnetized you'll be done in a single coat. If you're magnetizing it just add a second and magnetize it. I used a bar magnet here. It Must Have Been
It Must Have Been features a blackened base filled with small metallic flakies in shades of gold and green along with a teal to purple shifting magnetic shimmer. The formula was excellent. I applied two thin coats normally, and then magnetized the third with a bar magnet. I also used the magnet again after applying top coat. Wasteland
Wasteland features a blue-green tinted base filled with a strong pink to gold shifting shimmer and tons of small gold hex glitters. Another easy to work with formula. I used three coats for full coverage. it does dry down with a touch of glitter texture, so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Dreamscapes And Visions
Dreamscapes And Visions features a teal green jelly base filled with blue to violet shifting shimmer and tons of small silver holo glitters. The formula was excellent and took two easy coats for full coverage. It also dried surprisingly smooth for a glitter filled formula. Short Term
Short Term features a light grey base filled with red to gold to green shifting shimmer. Another great formula here. I used three coats for full coverage, but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me will likely find two is enough. Turning Tides
Turning Tides features an aqua jelly base filled with a strong pink to green shifting shimmer and a variety of silver hex glitters. The formula took three coats for almost full coverage. I say almost because technically my nail lines show through a tiny bit, but the glitters break it up enough that it's not super obvious. Photos show three coats of Turning Tides with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from this release are Dreamscapes And Visions and Turning Tides. The May release will be available on May 28th, 2021 at 10AM AEST on the Australian site and May 27th, 2021 at 8PM EDT on the US & International site. You can find Emily de Molly on
