Today I have the inaugural shade in the Paint It Pretty Polish Pretty Polish of the Month series to share with you. Seeing as how I still can't quite believe September is here, Was Summer A Dream? is the perfect name for what I'm feeling. Let's take a look at swatches.
Was Summer A Dream? features a light blue base filled with purple to copper to green shifting aurora shimmer, tiny silver holo flakes and deep blue metallic flakies. The formula was easy to work with taking three coats for full coverage, though it was so close after two that for those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line two will likely be enough. This shade dries down to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show three coats of Was Summer A Dream? with one coat of CND Creative Play top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
