Today I have The Bold Collection from Live Love Polish to share with you. This ten shade collection features a little bit of everything, so get ready for lots of pictures. Let's take a look at swatches.
Skinny Jeans
Skinny Jeans features a navy blue jelly base with a fine flecked blue shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. Just be a little careful about flooding your cuticles because this shade does have the potential to stain skin a little bit. However, I didn't have any stains on my nails when I used base coat. Chandelier
Chandelier features silver holo shard glitters in a clear base. I used it hear over Skinny Jeans. The formula was alright. I did have to swirl the brush in the bottle a bit to pick up a decent amount of glitters, but they applied quite easily and were relatively smooth after one coat of top coat. Stiletto
Stiletto is a deep berry pearl shimmer. The formula was a tiny bit thick, but made up for it by being a one-coater. Photos show one coat of Stiletto with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Pavé
Pavé features iridescent shard glitters in a clear base. The formula just did not work for me. The glitters were hard to distribute evenly on the nail. I had to do a lot of nudging around with the brush. However, the biggest issue I had was that the glitters did not lay flush with my nail at all. Even after two coats of top coat there were still some rough corners poking through. Velour
Velour is a deep teal leaning green pearl shimmer. It had a formula very similar to Stiletto - a tiny bit thick but full coverage in a one coat. I did have to pay a little bit more attention to brush strokes lines with this one. They're easy to keep neat as long as you brush straight up the nail. Blue Suede
Blue Suede is a royal blue pearl shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. You do have to pay a little more attention to your brush strokes, make sure you go straight up the nail. The resulting brush stroke lines are subtle, but they are there. Corduroy
Corduroy is a vibrant sunflower yellow creme. The formula was excellent taking two easy thing coats for full coverage. This does dry quite shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. I didn't think this colour would play nice with my skin tone, but I was pleasantly surprised - it looks really good! Macchiato
Macchiato is a medium latte brown creme. The formula was a bit patchy on the first coat but built up to full coverage on the second. I found floating my brush a little more than I usually do helped get an even finish with this shade. Chenille
Chenille is a medium muted purple creme. The formula was very similar to Macchiato - a little bit patchy on the first coat, but layers up nicely. Photos show two coats of Chenille with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Thigh High
Thigh High is a dark navy blue creme. The formula was excellent and super pigmented one coater. Photos show one coat of Thigh High with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
