Today I have Girly Bits Cosmetics' contribution to Polish Pickup's March release to share with you. This month's theme is Books and Girly Bits chose The Princess Bride as their inspiration. The name As You Wish comes from the phrase that Westley repeatly says to Buttercup. Let's take a look at swatches.
As You Wish features a blackened teal base with a super strong bronze to green-gold shifting shimmer, copper flakes, tiny silver holo flakes and pink to green shifting metallic flakies. Though the base is technically teal, one applied the overall look leans to a deep rich brown with a green shift. The formula was very easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. It also dries quite smoothly but I added top coat for a perfect finish. Photos show two coats of As You Wish with one coat of Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
... and a couple more in slightly different lighting to bring out that shifty shimmer.
I am not usually a brown (or pseudo-brown) polish person, but I love this. It's so dark but glowy at the same time. This polish, along with many other book inspired goodies, will be available for pre-order on the Polish Pickup website for four days beginning at 11AM EST on March 2nd, 2018.
