Hello readers,
Today I have the Tonic Polish fan favorite, Peacock Parade, to share with you. Peacock Parade has been released in a few limited edition batches. My will power ran out in the most recent (and last) release after seeing so many pretty swatch photos of this shade.

Peacock Parade features a teal to blue to purple to gold shifting multichrome base. The formula was excellent, taking two easy coats for full coverage. This shade does dry quite shiny on its own, but I added top coat because I wanted to last over my Christmas travels. Photos show two coats of Peacock Parade with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

... and here's a couple more in shaded lighting to really show that purple and blue shift.

I get why this polish is so raved about now. Though I already own other shades with a similar shift, Peacock Parade somehow manages to show much more of the shift spectrum all at once. I can easily see three colours on a single nail at once. The other main difference I noticed is that this is quite shifty in bright direct lighting, not just shaded lighting. Happy polishing,
Michelle
