Hello readers,
Today I have three polishes from Girly Bits Cosmetics available exclusively to members of the Multichrome Madness Facebook group. Pam aimed to create something unique, with some Girly Bits style, and a variety of finishes so that there would be something for everyone. Let's take a look at what she came up with.
Tropical Daydream
Tropical Daydream is a shimmery almost metallic polish that shifts from emerald green to teal to navy blue. The green is predominant in bright lighting and the teal and blue come out more in shaded lighting. The formula was easy to work with requiring three thin coats to become opaque. There are slight remnants of brushstrokes in the finish, so keep that in mind when polishing. Photos show three coats of Tropical Daydream with one coat of CND Super Shiney topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Diamonds In The Sand
Diamonds In The Sand is a taupey-brown flecked shimmer with lots of scatter holo. It has a fine shimmer that shifts from pink to gold. No issues with the formula, though it does dry to a satin finish so you'll likely want pair it with a glossy top coat. Photos show two coats of Diamonds In The Sand with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Cabana Boy-toy
Cabana Boy-toy is a shimmery multichrome that shifts from navy to purple to fuchsia. The formula was similar in application to Tropical Daydreae, though this has a slightly larger particle shimmer finish and brushstrokes were not visible when it dried. Photos show three coats of Cabana Boy-toy with one coat of CND Super Shiney topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting.
