Hello readers,
Today I have a shade from the Cadillacquer Halloween 2016 collection to share with you. When I first saw Bones, it intrigued me but I decided I didn't need it. As more swatches came out the colour and shimmer combo won me over. Let's take a look at why.
Bones features a sheer base that's somewhere between grey taupe and beige. Taugreige? It has tiny black and orange glitters, small to medium matte white glitters, green shimmer and a healthy dose of scatter holo. The combination is certainly unique and really grew on me the longer I wore it. I used three coats here, though you could get away with two if you don't have a strong visible nail line. It also dried relatively smoothly despite all the glitters. Photos show three coats of Bones with one coat of Sephora Shine XCEL top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
FYI, though the glitters were small, there were certainly a lot of them and removal wasn't the easiest. Be sure to have your favorite peel off base coat or glitter removal method ready. You can find Cadillacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
