Hello readers,
Today I have a great neutral with personality to share with you. Reverie Nail Lacquer makes some gorgeous flecked shimmers and Starcrossed is no exception.
Starcrossed features a pale neutral beige base with tons of translucent silver and gold glass flecks along with some tiny metallic copper flakes. The formula was a tad thick but still relatively easy to work with. I didn't have any issues with self leveling and it took two coats to become opaque. This shade dries to a waxy finish so I definitely recommend a glossy top coat to really bring out the flecked shimmer. Photos show two coats of Starcrossed with one coat of Sephora X Shine XCEL top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Yet another polish that proves neutral doesn't need to be boring. You can find Reverie Nail Lacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
That looks like Star Crossed, not Cloud Burst. I just double checked my bottles, Cloud Burst is definitely a light grey with shimmer, Star Crossed is a neutral with flecks. Maybe your bottle is mislabeled
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know! I will definitely have to check that when I get home.
DeleteDefinitely picked up the wrong bottle to verify the name when I was writing this post, hahaha.
