Born Pretty Store Thermal Nail Polish #6 Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have a tri-thermal nail polish from Born Pretty Store to share with you. The change in temperature from the chilly winter weather to the warm indoors really shows of the full range of colour. Let's take a look.
Tri-thermal #6 starts as a deep cool toned purple when cold and transitions through a medium pink to a light taupey grey. Most of the time I found that only two colours showed - the warm grey and the cool purple. A thin zone of pink did appear after sudden temperature changes, such as getting out of a warm bath, or coming in from the cold outdoors. The formula was alright. I found it a bit tacky feeling but didn't have trouble with self-leveling. Wait a little longer than you normally would between coats to avoid dragging. It dries to a waxy finish and I like shine so I added a glossy top coat. Photos show two coats of Tri-thermal #6 with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
If you like the two shade look of this polish, go for it! If that third colour is what's pulling you in, I'd pass since it doesn't make an appearance very often. Don't forget to use the coupon code MSTK31 for 10% your order of regular priced items from BPS. You can find them on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
