Hello readers,
For 2016 I wanted to post more nail art looks on the blog. I started out strong, but got in a bit of a rut during the middle of the year. Some nail art challenges served as inspiration and I picked things back up towards the end of the year. Here's a look at my five favorite looks from the past year.
Black and Nude Lace Nail Stamping
I love the classic combination of black and nude shades. The black lace stamping added a delicate touch and the small glitter embellishments caught the light perfectly. You can find the full details for this look here.
Tree Branch Silhouette Free Hand Nail Art
This is when I learned that freehand leaves are hard to do consistently, but I still love the end look even if it has a hint of abstractness to it. You can find the full post for this look here.
Freehand Owl Nail Art
Look a that little owl face! I surprised myself with how well this one turned out and it is definitely one of my more successful freehand nail art attempts. Find out everything about this look here.
Metallic Stamped Flower Nail Art
This was my first attempt at making stamped nail decals. I love the contrast of the metallic flowers against the jelly base. You can find all the info about this look here.
Snowy Winter Forest Nail Art
A perfect snowy look to finish out the year. This is my kind of holiday look. I'm also really happy with how the gradient background turned out since I haven't done too many sponged gradients before. Check out all the details about this look here.
Happy polishing and happy new year!
Michelle
