CANVAS Lacquer Hawkins, Indiana Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have a new-to-me Canadian indie polish brand to share with you, Canvas Lacquer! I've been aware of this brand for a little while but hadn't had the chance to try them out. Recently I found out that I actually have a friend in common with one of the brand owners, which meant my friend had a source for some pretty awesome polish presents. This first shade is part of the Stranger Things collection. Who doesn't love some good 80's style supernatural inspiration?
Hawkins, Indiana is a deep blurple shimmer with lots of translucent green flecks and shimmer and a purple flash. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats to become opaque. It dried to a satin finish so top coat is a must for a glossy finish. Photos show two coats of Hawkins, Indiana with one coat of Sephora X Shine XCEL top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I'm really happy with my first polish from Canvas Lacquer. This shade is perfect for the transition from fall to icy winter. You can find Canvas Lacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
