Hello readers,
It October, which means it's time to go through September's empties!
Hand & Nails
Is that an empty topcoat bottle I see? It sure is. I really like the Essence gel-look top coat at first, but halfway through the bottle it got really goopy and I ended up having to thin it regularly to finish it. For that reason I probably won't buy it again. I also finished up a tin of Burt's Bees cuticle cream and already have another tin ready to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the Silk Elements hand cream. It was really mositurizing without leaving my hands feeling greasy. I have a few other hand creams to go through but this one is definitely a potential future purchase.
Face
Lots of face product empties this month. My favorites were the Glamour Doll Eyes Hydra Glaze gloss in Aura - smelled amazing and wasn't sticky. Glamglow is always a favorite. The Vichy Idealia products I got from ChickAdvisor were nice but I didn't think they performed significantly better than other moisturizers. At $50+ a pop I just don't think it's worth it for my skin.
Hair
Herbal Essences continues to be a staple. I also finished up a few samples, but nothing I would re-buy.
Bath & Body
My bubble bath stash of on sale Christmas gift sets has finally run out. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for sales and buying this brand again. They all smelled amazing. I also finished my last Julep Pomegranate Body Scrub. No more sticky greasy residue for me. I'll never buy that stuff again. It was awful. The Burt's Bees milk & shea body wash was quite nice as well. Creamy and moisturizing without making me break out at all.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
