Since Monday was a holiday (for me) WingDust Wednesday gets postponed right? Today I have a one of the newly released WingDust Collection polishes to show you.
One Of Those Summer Days is a thermal polish that switches from cobalt blue to sky blue. It's filled with holo shimmer, blue microglitter and real 24 karat gold leaf. I found the formula slightly thick but it doesn't drag and doesn't have any issues self leveling. I used three coats to reach opacity. My nail line shows just the tiniest bit when the polish is the warm lighter blue colour. This polish dries to a waxy matte sheen so it needs a top coat for a glossy finish. It also dries slightly textured. One coat of a thin top coat didn't smooth it out completely but I think one coat of a thicker top coat would. Photos show three coats of One Of Those Summer Days with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.
I don't usually buy thermal polishes since the colour changing pigments start to break down after a year or so. However, I like both colours of this one so much that I'll be just fine with whichever colour ends up being permanent. You can find WingDust Collections on:
Happy polishing,
Michelle
