Black And Teal Swirl Nail Stamping

Hello readers,
Today I have some nail are to show you that I wore to not one, but two weddings this past weekend! (It was slightly exhausting :P ).  I started out with a base of Girly Bits Mint-al Precesion topped with one coat of Pahlish The Wayfarer.  Then I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and Pueen Plate SE03B to stamp on the black swirl design.  Finally I sealed everything up with a coat of Seche Vite.  Photos show the above mani in daylight spectrum lighting.

Girly Bits Cu Blue Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
Today I have another great Girly Bits polish to show you.  This one has been on my wishlist for a while and when I saw it for a great price in a stash sale I snatched it up.

Cu Blue features a navy jelly based filled with copper microflakes.  The result is a very squishy finish with a strong copper shimmer.  The initial coat is quite sheer but it does layer up nicely.  It took me three coats to become opaque and dried completely smoothly.  In very bright lighting the white of mile nail tips shows through a tiny bit, but in most lighting it is completely opaque.  Photos show three coats of Cu Blue with one coat of Nubar Diamond top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Did you make it through all the pictures??  It photographed so well that I had a hard time choosing which ones to cut.  You can find Girly Bits at:

Girly Bits Shift Happens Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
Today is my birthday and I chose an amazing effect top coat to sport for my birthday nails.  Apologies in advance, this is a very picture heavy post.

Shift happens look somewhat unassuming in the bottle.  It has a soft copper to green shimmer.  However, when you layer it over another colour it comes to life giving any polish an amazing shimmery colour shifting glow.  I layered one coat of Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt, a cobalt blue jelly.  The result was a shimmery layer that shifted from red to copper to green.  I love it.  The formula was fantastic and I didn't have any issues with patchiness or bald spots.  Photos show one coat of Shift Happens over Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in a mix of natural and 5100K lighting.

Summer Of Untrieds Days 21, 22 & 23: Girly Bits, Green & Micro Glitter - Girly Bits Get Weaponized, Darling Diva Polish Eat Your Veggies and Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army

Hello readers,
In my attempts to get caught up on the summer of untrieds challenge I combined three days worth of themes into one mani.  I also realized that I skipped ahead and did a teal mani on the 18th when the theme was actually green.  I must have been really excited about teal, haha.  So, for day 22, which is actually when I was supposed to do a teal polish I did a green one instead.

I used Get Weaponized and Eat Your Veggies for a soft gradient from teal to green.  I then added on coat of Seven Nation Army over top for a little extra something.  I had no issues with any of the formulas and they were all easy to work with.  Photos show the gradient with one coat of HK Girl top coat in overcast natural lighting.  In direct sunlight all of the polishes have a nice scattered holo shimmer.

I really love how this turned out.  The colour shift in the gradient is really soft and delicate and the glitter on top makes it a little different.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
