Hello readers,
Today I have swatches of the first six shades I picked up from the Gracie Jay & Co Bee's Knees Lacquer Overstock sale to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Amazing Opportunities For New Possibilities
Amazing Opportunities for New Possibilities is a large particle blue to purple to magenta multichrome. The formula was very nice to work with and I used three thin coats for full coverage here. Blow Up The F*cking Ocean!
Blow Up The F*cking Ocean! features a blackened base filled with a dark navy to purple shifting shimmer and small gold reflective glitters. The formula was a touch thick as most reflective glitters are, but I got nice coverage in two coats. It does dry own to a textured finish so top coat is recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Customer Appreciation 2023
Customer Appreciation features a warm purple tinted base filled with a green to blue shifting shimmer. This one was very sheer. After three coats my nail lines still show through very clearly. I wish the final finish was closer to the purple I see in the bottle. Photos show three coats of Customer Appreciation 2023 with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Guess What
Guess What features a pale muted blue base filled with small silver holo flecks and a strong red to green shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. In these pictures you can technically see my nail line a little but but to the eye it didn't show. Raccacoonie
Raccacoonie features a pale blue tinted base packed with small teal-blue iridescent flecks and scatter holo shimmer. I was worried this one was going to be too sheer but I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely it built up. I used three coats here and got pretty decent coverage, my nail lines aren't very obvious. Time To Level Up
Time To Level Up features a green to purple to magenta multichrome base filled with small red reflective glitters. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. The glitters do dry down to a textured finish so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Time To Level Up with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
