Hello readers,
Today I have the Emily de Molly's May release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Empty Stairs
Empty Stairs features a yellow jelly base filled with iridescent shifting flakies in shades of gold, orange and green. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries down with minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Empty Stairs with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
No Time features a burnt orange jelly base filled with shifty iridescent flakies in shades or gold, orange, green and indigo. Another excellent two coat formula here. Top coat is recommended to smooth out minor flakie divots. Photos show two coats of No Time with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Beautiful Mourning features a khaki brown base filled with pink to gold shifting flecked shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Beautiful Mourning with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Habitual features a deep olive green jelly base filled with iridescent shifting flakies in shades of pink, orange and gold. The formula was easy to apply though I recommend waiting a little extra time between coats to maximize flakie coverage. Photos show two coats of Habitual with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Head Strong features a khaki green tinted base filled with a large particle blue to purple shifting shimmer and lots of small matte white glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with. I do recommend slightly floating your brush to avoid dragging glitters. This shade dries down with some glitter bumps so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Head Strong with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Lost Contact features a sandy tan base filled with purple shimmer and small dark purple flecks. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. This shade does dry down with some texture from the little flakes so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Lost Contact with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Put In Your Place features a pumpkin orange jelly base filled with small holo copper glitters. The formula was excellent and took two coats for full coverage. It does dry down with some glitter texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Put In Your Place with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Wounded Horror features a pea green base with a strong copper-gold shimmer. Another great formula here. I used two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Wounded Horror with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
My personal top picks from this release are Head Strong, Put In Your Place and Wounded Horror. The May release will be available on May 2nd, 2022 at 10AM AEST on the Australian site and May 1st, 2022 at 8PM EDT on the US & International site. You can find Emily de Molly on
