Hello readers,
Today I've got another eight shades from my China Glaze collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
What I Like About Blue
What I Like About Blue is a bright turquoise shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage, though it was super close after two. This shade dries down to a satin matter finish so add top coat for shine. Photos show three coats of What I Like About Blue with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Midnight Mission
Midnight Mission features a shimmery nave base filled with tiny silver flecks. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Midnight Mission with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Turned Up Turquoise
Turned Up Turquoise features a bright tropical blue with turquoise shimmer. The formula dries to a matte finish and was a little tricky to work with if you try to get thin coats. I found floating my brush and going for slightly thicker coats than my norm helped a lot. I used top coat here for a shiny finish. Meet Me Under The Stars
Meet Me Under The Stars features a blackened teal base filled with tiny silver glitters. The formula was easy to work with though it dried down with glitter texture. Top coat is recommended. Tongue & Chic
Tongue & Chic is a deep teal shimmer. The formula was excellent and very pigmented. I only needed once coat for full coverage. Photos show one coat of Tongue & Chic with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Hanging In The Balance
Hanging In The Balance is a medium azure blue creme. The formula was nicely pigmented and took me two coats for full coverage. However my bottle has gone through a couple rounds of thickening up and adding thinner so I'm not sure how close this is the original formula. Photos show two coats of First Mate with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
My Way Or The Highway
My Way Or The Highway is a bright teal green crelly. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It dries down to a nice squishy finish. Photos show three coats of My Way Or The Highway with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Water You Waiting For
Water You Waiting For features a navy blue tinted base filled with small and medium blue glitters. The formula was somewhat thick, but that may just be due to my bottle's age. I used two coats here for full coverage. It does dry down with quite a bit of glitter texture so doubling up on top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Water You Waiting For with one coat of Watcha Top Glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My personal favorites from this round up are Midnight Mission, Tongue & Chic and My Way Or The Highway. You can find China Glaze on
