Hello readers,
Today I have the polishes I picked up during Polished For Days' Black Friday sale to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Under The Sea
Under The Sea features a sapphire blue jelly base filled with translucent blue and teal flakies. The formula felt a bit thick due to all the flakies but was still relatively easy to work with. I used three coats here for full coverage. This shade did dry down with some flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Under The Sea with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
What's This?!
What's This?! features a royal purple base filled with purple to pink shifting shimmer and small silver holo flecks. The formula was excellent and very easy to work with. I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of What's This?! with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Snowflakes
Snowflakes features a denim blue tinted base filled with tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here for full coverage. It was very close after two, so some may find two is enough. Photos show three coats of Snowflakes with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
1957
1957 features a super shimmery green to blue to violet shifting base filled with tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was excellent and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of 1957 with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Toss A Coin To Your Witcher
Toss A Coin At Your Witcher features a medium muted blue crelly base with green to blue shifting flakies, tiny silver holo flecks and teal to purple shifting shimmer. The formula felt a tad thick but was still quite workable. I used two coats here for full coverage. It did dry down with a bit of texture from the flakies so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Rosefinch
Rose Finch features a muted blue crelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of pink, orange and green. The formula was very easy to work with and I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of Rose Finch with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Grey Diamond
Grey Diamond features a light grey base filled with tons of holo shimmer, red to gold shifting shimmer and a sprinkling of tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was excellent and nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Grey Diamond with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Pegasus
Pegasus features a cornflower blue jelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of teal, blue and violet along with tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was easy to work with. I used three coats here, but it was so close after two that some may find two is enough. This does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Pegasus with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My favorites from this group are What's This, Snowflakes, 1957 and Pegasus. You can find Polished For Days on
