Hello readers,
Today I have the polishes I picked up from Emily de Molly's Black Friday sale a couple months ago to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
LE 299
LE 299 features a dark purple jelly base filled with blue flecked shimmer and orange to green shifting iridescent hex glitters. The formula was nice to work with and very pigmented. I used two coats for full coverage here. It does dry down with some minor glitter bumps so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of LE 299 with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Finishing Move
Finishing Move features a clear base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of pink, violet, orange and gold. I use it here as a topper over a berry creme. The formula was very easy to apply and I got good flakie coverage in a single coat. Photos show one coat of Finishing Move over Girly Bits Cosmetics Enough With The Boo-sh!t with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Black The Night
Black The Night features a clear base filled with small black glitters. It is meant to be worn as a topper. I found that floating my brush with the occasional dab for bare spots gave me the best coverage. Photos show one coat of Black The Night over Emily de Molly Light The Way with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Pale Landscape
Pale Landscape features a clear base filled with small white glitters. Like Black The Night this is meant to be used as a topper and I found floating my brush combined with an occasional targeted dab gave me the best glitter coverage. Photos show one coat of Pale Landscape over Live Love Polish Sphinx with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Hot Spot
Subset
Subset features a clear base filled with green to blue to violet shifting iridescent flakies. I used it here as a topper over a navy blue creme. The formula was very easy to work with and I got good flakie payoff with a single coat. Photos show one coat of Subset over China Glaze First Mate with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Annual Bloom
Annual Bloom features a dark purple jelly base filled with silvery purple magnetic shimmer and teal to purple shifting iridescent flakies. The formula was very easy to work with. I used two coats for full coverage here. On my index and pinky I left it unmagnetized and on my middle and fourth fingers I magnetized the second coat with a bar magnet. Photos show two coats of Annual Bloom with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
