Hello readers,
I'm continuing to swatch my way through my Emily de Molly collection. We're onto the greens and teals. Let's take a look at swatches.
Copper Patina
Copper Patina features a light turquoise base with a soft pink-gold shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Copper Patina with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Tread Lightly
Tread Lightly features a turquoise crelly base filled with a variety of glitters in shades of silver, pink and purple. The formula was a little tricky. I found the glitters tended to clump together a bit. My bottle is also quite old though, so age may play a part in that. I used three coats for full coverage here. It does dry down with some glitter bumps, especially if you have curved nail beds like me, so top coat is recommended. Queen Of The Sea
Queen Of The Sea features a medium teal-green base with a strong golden shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Queen Of The Sea with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Restless
Restless features a blue base filled with teal shimmer and a sprinkling of gold flecks. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Restless with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Jungle District
Jungle District features a deep teal green jelly base filled with small holo teal glitters, gold shimmer and a sprinkling of holo flakes. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. It did dry down with a fair bit of glitter texture so top coat is recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Ariel's Realm
Ariel's Realm features a dark blue jelly base filled with small metallic flakies in shades of green, blue and gold. The formula was very easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage.
