Hello readers,
I've got the last dozen polishes from my Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
My Precious
My Precious features a purple crelly base filled with glass fleck shimmer and small orange to green shifting glitters. The formula was fairly easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It dries down with some glitter texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of My Precious with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
We Fly With Our Spirit
We Fly With Our Spirit features a dark purple jelly base with tiny red-copper flecks. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of We Fly With Our Spirit with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Prototype DGYSF1

Prototype BBuMG1
Prototype BBuMG1 features a turquoise crelly base filled with pink shimmer and small orange iridescent glitters. The formula felt a bit thick due to all the shimmer and glitters in there. I used two coats here and my nail lines still show through a tiny bit. I might thin it a bit and go for three coats in the future, or layer it over a similar creme shade. The Years Have Been Short
The Years Have Been Short features a pale grey tinted base filled with silver shimmer, tiny metallic blue flecks, and small glitters in shades of white and blue. The formula was easy to apply. I used three coats for almost full coverage here. It did dry down with a fair bit of microglitter texture so I doubled up on top coat. Merman, Pops, MerMAN
Merman, Pops, MerMAN features a medium blue crelly base filled with metallic indigo flakies and gold shimmer. The formula was nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. It did dry down to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show two coats of Merman, Pops, MerMAN with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Siren's Curtain Call
Siren's Curtain Call features a turquoise base packed with silver holo microglitters. The formula was easy to work with, especially for a microglitter. I used two coats here. It does dry down with a fair bit of glitter texture so doubling up on top coat is the way to go. The Best Blaze
The Best Blaze features a sky blue jelly base with a sprinkling of silver scatter holo shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here and got 95% coverage. My nail lines still show through a tiny bit but it's not super obvious. Photos show three coats of The Best Blaze with one coat of CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
