Today I have Treo Lacquer's contribution to the December Polish Pickup release to share with you. This month's theme is Everything Is Fine, representing all that has made up the absolutely unexpected year that was 2020. Treo Lacquer wanted to reflect on the Black Lives Matter protests and the push for an increase in darker skin tone representation in the indie polish community. Let's take a look at swatches.
Resist features a navy blurple (cold) to khaki green (warm) thermal base filled with a green magnetic shimmer. The formula was easy to apply and took three coats for full coverage. I left my pointer and pinky finger unmagnetized, and magnetized my middle and fourth fingers on the third coat and again after top coat. Photos show three coats of Resist with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
Resist will be available on the Polish Pickup website from 11AM EST on December 4th, 2020 to midnight on December 7th, 2020. This polish will be 12USD with a cap of 160 (145 on the US site, 15 on the UK site).
