Hello readers,
Today I have Emily de Molly's December release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Before I Forget
Before I Forget features a mint green crelly base filled with small and medium copper hex glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries to a satin finish with some glitter bumps, so top coat is recommend for a smooth shiny finish. Blur The Line
Blur The Line features a magenta crelly base filled with iridescent blue and fuchsia flakes. No issues with the formula. Though it was opaque after two coats I added a third for some extra flakie depth. Photos show three coats of Blur The Line with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Fall Back
Fall Back features an olive green jelly base filled with metallic silver flakes. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented, especially for a jelly. I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of Fall Back with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Answer
Final Answer features a teal-leaning green crelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of green, blue and orange. Another nicely pigmented formula taking two coats for full coverage. Shakedown
Shakedown features a mustard yellow crelly base filled with small and medium pewter hex glitters. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. This dries down with some minor glitter bumps so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Double Cross
Double Cross features a blackened green jelly base filled with orange to gold to green shifting flakies. The formula was excellent and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Double Cross with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
One Look
One Look is a sapphire blue foiled shimmer. The formula was excellent and very pigmented. I used two thing coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of One Look with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Something Special
Something Special features a pale pink crelly base filled with tiny silver holo flecks and iridescent flakies in shades of orange, green and pink. The formula felt a tad thick from all the flakies but was still easy to work with. It does dry down with some flakie divots so top coat is recommended. Final Thoughts
My hands down personal favorite from this release is One Look. It's such a good blue and I love my blues. Tied for second are Final Answer and Blur The Line.
