Hello readers,
I feature a lot of indie brands on the blog, but I've got lots of mainstream polishes too. Today I'm pulling some of them out to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Gosh Venus

Gosh Venus is a turquoise blue creme. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Gosh Venus with one coat of OPI Plumping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Orly Fowl Play

Orly Fowl Play features a plum purple jelly base filled with silver shimmer, small indigo glitters and orange to green shifting flakies. No issues with the formula and it took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Orly Fowl Play with one coat of OPI Plumping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

China Glaze What I Like About Blue

China Glaze What I Like About Blue features a turquoise blue base filled with a fine gold shimmer. The formula was easy to apply and took three coats for full coverage. I found this shade took longer than normal to dry though, so give yourself some extra time. Joe Fresh Kaleidoscope

Joe Fresh Kaleidoscope features a grey tinted based filled with small pink to gold to green shifting flakies. It can be worn as a full coverage polish, but I decided to use it as a topper here. Photos show one coat of Kaleidoscope over China Glaze What I Like About Blue with one coat of OPI Plumping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

CND Vinylux Nordic Lights

CND Vinylux Nordic Lights features a deep plum purple jelly base filled with tiny silver holo glitters and a flakies in shades of pink, purple and orange. The formula was easy to to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It does dry down with some small bumps so top coat is recommended. China Glaze Atlantis

China Glaze Atlantis features a teal green jelly based filled with small silver holo glitters. The formula was a tad thick but still workable. I used two coats here for full coverage. It dried down with a fair bit of glitter texture so you'll want to top coat it. Photos show two coats of Atlantis with two coats of OPI Plumping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Final Thoughts
My personal favorites of this round up are Gosh Venus and China Glaze What I Like About Blue.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
