Hello readers,
Today I have the June limited edition polishes from Great Lake Lacquer to share with you. I got these at Indie Expo Canada but they are also available on the GLL website. Let's take a look at swatches.
Wandering NYC In A Coral Coat
Wandering NYC In A Coral Coat is a warm coral leaning pink with a fine blue shimmer. The formula was excellent and very easy to work with. It took two coats to become opaque. Though it dried shiny on it's own I added top coat out of habit. Photos show two coats of Wandering NYC In A Coral Coat with one coat of Girly Bits What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
I Miss Grass
I Miss Grass is a grass green crelly filled with pale blue and green flakes. The formula was a tad thick but still relatively easy to work with. It took two coats to become opaque and dried to a satin finish. I recommend adding a glossy top coat to really make the flakes shine. Conclusion
My personal favorite of this pair is Wandering NYC In A Coral Coat, which is really surprising since pinks aren't usually my thing. The warm undertones combined with blue shimmer surprised me with how much I liked it once I had it on my nails. I Miss Grass is also a lovely shade if green polishes call to you. These limited edition shades are available for purchase until July 2nd, 2017 at 2PM EDT. You can find Great Lakes Lacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
