Today I have another shade from the Canvas Lacquer Stranger Things collection to share with you. If you've seen the show, you know that a burnt orange is the perfect shade for Barb.
Be Like Barb features a shimmery burnt orange base with a pink to gold flash. Deep oranges like this usually give me lobster hands, but the pink shimmer somehow balances things out and almost gives it subtle purple undertones. The formula itself was a bit thin and sheer. It took three coats to become opaque and I had to be really careful about flooding my cuticles. It dries to a satin finish so I recommend a glossy top coat to really bring out the shimmer. Photos show three coats of Be Like Barb with one coat of Hong Kong Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
So, the formula - not the best I've used, but still workable. The fact that this doesn't give my fingers that fake tan glow? Worth it. You can find Canvas Lacquer on
