Today I have a new limited edition duo from Lucky 13 Lacquer to share with you. This duo draws inspiration from Sleeping Beauty and features holo finishes with colour shifting shimmer. Let's take a look at swatches.
Once Upon A Dream
Once Upon A Dream features a pale blue linear holo base with a pink flecked shimmer that shifts to gold in shaded lighting. This shade was inspired by Sleeping Beauty's dress, caught in the middle of a faerie fight. The formula was easy to work with though a tad sheer. It took three coats to become opaque and dried smoothly. Photos show three coats of Once Upon A Dream with one coat of Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
No Such Thing As True Love
No Such Thing As True Love features a murky purple holo base with a strong green flecked shimmer that shifts to violet in shaded lighting. This shade was inspired by Maleficent. The holo in this one wasn't as strong as Once Upon A Dream but the green shimmer makes up for it. No issues with the formula. It was easy to apply and became opaque in two coats. Photos show two coats of No Such Thing As True Love with once coat of Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Conclusion
These are both very pretty shades but my personal favorite is No Such Thing As True Love. I can't resist a contrasting flecked shimmer. This duo is a one time pour, so make sure to snag it now if it needs to join your collection. You can find Lucky 13 Lacquer on
