Hello readers,
Today I pulled out a mystery prototype from Reverie Nail Lacquer to share with you. Though it technically has a numbered name, I have dubbed this polish 'Grape Jelly' since it has the perfect grape purple base.
MP-142 aka Grape Jelly features a purple jelly base packed with a variety of blue, purple and green glitters. The formula on this one was tricky to work with. I experienced a lot of glitter clumps when applying it and had to do a lot of brush nudging to get the glitters lay smoothly. Buying prototypes always comes with the potential for not perfect formula warning though. The end result is pretty though I will probably layer it over a purple creme in the future to make application easier. Photos show three coats of MP-142 with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze in daylight spectrum lighting.
If you want a chance to snag prototypes in the future make sure to join the Revelry With Reverie facebook group. You can find Reverie Nail Lacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
