Hello readers,
Today I have a new-to-me brand to share with you. You know dusty mauves are my favorite MLBB shade, so when I saw the NUDESTIX #NUDELIPKIT at Sephora with pink leaning shades I knew I had to give it a try.
This kit features three mini pencils in different formulas - matte, cream and gel. It also comes with a sharpener so you don't have to hunt for one that fits and a sleek mirrored tin to store everything in. While these pencils also double as a cheek colour, this post will focus on them as lipsticks.
Bare lips for reference
Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil - Belle
The shade Belle is described as a matte plum nude, but I'm not quite sure where the plum part comes in. It is more of a rose nude in my opinion. As far as mattes go, this formula is pretty creamy. I didn't experience any tugging when applying it and if felt comfortable on the lips. The trade off is that this won't last quite as long as some more traditional matte formulas.

Lip + Cheek Pencil - Mystic
Mystic is described as a cream plum nude. This one definitely leans more plum than Belle, but still lives in the mauve family. The formula on this one was super creamy and comfortable though it doesn't have a ton of staying power. The upside of the nude shade is that wear won't be too noticeable.

Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm - Pulse
Pulse is described as a gel plum nude. I really didn't see much of a difference in formula and application compared with Mystic's cream formula. Pulse is just a shade lighter than Mystic. Like Mystic, this creamy formula leans more toward comfort than longevity, so be prepared to reapply as needed.

Conclusion
Overall this is a great deal at $28, especially if creamier lipsticks are your cup of tea. My personal favorite is Mystic but I can definitely see myself wearing all three. You can find NUDESTIX on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
