Essie Comfy In Cashmere Swatches & Review
Hello readers,
Today I have another shade from the Essie Cashmere Mattes collection to show you.
Comfy in Cashmere features a medium taupe base with a fine blue shimmer. The formula on these mattes take a little while to get used to. I usually try to do very thin coats when polishing, but for these I quickly learned that going with a large bead of polish on the brush and laying down a thicker coat led to a more even finish. Also, if you see a spot you want to touch up, resist the urge to do it right away and wait until your next coat to avoid dragging. I ended up using three coats in the photos below, but had I figured out the best application technique for these matte polishes sooner, I could have definitely been fine with two. Pictures show three coats of Comfy In Cashmere in daylight spectrum lighting.
Happy polishing,
Michelle

This just looks perfect in your pix! I know I got two of these, but can't remember if this was one of them! I already wore the darker one that is kind of purple with blue shimmer...
ReplyDeleteI think you're thinking of Coat Couture.... which is also the other one that I got from this collection. We must have similar tastes. :)
DeleteYes, we both have excellent taste! :D
