Hello readers,
Today I have a very picture heavy post for you so get your eyes ready.  Angel at Above The Curve sent me a selection of holo's to share with you.  They showed up at the perfect time since after a week of solid rain the sun finally came out to play.

Blue Raspberry

Blue Raspberry is a bright cobalt blue with a strong linear holo.  The formula on this one was fantastic.  I used three coats but you could easily get away with two if you kept an eye out for bald spots.  I am in love with this polish.  I mean, it's a blue holo.  How could I not love it?  Pictures show three coats of Blue Raspberry with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.

Banana To A Party

Banana To A Party is a bright yellow flecked polish with a sparkly scatter holo.  The holo is much more apparent in person than in my pictures.  My camera just refused to capture it.  In bright light this polish is a perfect big bird in yellow but in some dim lighting it gets a tiny hint of green to it too.  The formula was fantastic and easy to work with.  It is a bit sheer though so if you want opaque coverage I suggest layering it over a yellow or white creme polish.  Photos show three coats of Banana To A Party with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.

You Java Me Crazy

You Java Me Crazy features a frosty maroon based with flashes of red and purple and a soft scatter holo.  The formula on this one was also great.  If you're careful you could get away with a single coat but I used two just to be safe.  It leans more brown in direct sunlight but in shade this awesome purple-red shift shows up.  It's a really complex colour.  Photos show two coats of You Java Me Crazy with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.

Everyday Is A Holo-Day!

Everyday Is A Holo-Day! is a bright linear silver holo.  It is slightly sheer but I think it gives it a delicate look.  You could easily layer it over a grey creme if you wanted it to be 100% opaque.  The formula was fantastic and was very easy to work with.  Photos show three coats of Everyday Is A Holo-Day! with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.

Conclusion

These are the first ATC polishes that I've had the chance to try and I'm really impressed.  They all had great formulas and beautiful finishes.  Blue Raspberry was my personal favorite because... well... blue, but You Java Me Crazy put up a good fight.  Now I have another indie maker to add to my 'must try more polishes from them' list.  Good for my collection, bad for my wallet.  You can find these polishes and many more at

Happy polishing,

Michelle
