Products I Finished This Month - April 2014

Hello readers,
I'm falling a bit behind.  It's already half way through May and I haven't got April's finished products up yet!  Where has the time gone?

Yves Rocher Protectyl Soleil 3 in 1 After Sun Lotion
This product got used during and after my beach vacation in March.  It is great for soothing those minor sunburns that are kind of red but don't make you look like a lobster.  It smells amazing and is a nice moisturizer in general.  I've already purchased a replacement bottle.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
I got this as part of a clinique bonus.  It's a typical 'oily' make up remover.  It does the job well but I think you can find comparable products for less at the drugstore.  I would definitely use it again if I got it as part of another bonus but probably wouldn't buy it.

Orly Nail Defense
This was the first strengthener I ever tried.  I didn't find it did much for my nails.  Over time is has become pretty thick and hard to use so even though the bottle isn't empty I'm declaring it finished.  Since this didn't work as a strengthener for me I wouldn't purchase it again.  I recommend OPI Nail Envy as a short term strengthener and then Duri Rejuvocate as maintenance.

Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser
This is another item I got in a clinique bonus.  I wasn't a fan of this cleanser.  I felt it stripped my face of too much moisture and left it feeling tight and dry.  For this reason I wouldn't purchase it.

Assorted Moisturizers
First up, the vanilla walnut solid lotion bar from Apricot Hills.  I got this as part of the last Divalicious Sweet Delights sample box.  It smelled amazing.  Because it was a solid it didn't absorb as quickly as a lotion would.  I used it right before bed so that it had the chance to fully soak in as I slept.  The result was super soft skin in the morning.  I haven't yet decided whether I'm going to buy more of them.  The Julep Pink Grapefruit Body Frosting was a winner for me.  I wasn't a huge fan of the smell at first but it grew on me.  The lotion was dense and fluffy all the same time making 'frosting' a perfect description.  It really helped my dry winter legs.  I've already obtained a replacement jar of it.  The Rose 31 lotion was from a hotel.  Who doesn't take all those little hotel minis home with them?

Happy polishing,

Michelle
