Femme Fatale Under The Waters Swatches & Review

Today I have a polish from Femme Fatale's Cthulu collection to show you.  When this first came out I convinced myself that I didn't need it, but when I found out it was being discontinued that opinion quickly flipped and it made its way into my collection.

Under The Waters features a shimmery blue base with a very strong turquoise flash.  Though it does have a somewhat frosty finish I didn't have any issues with obvious brush strokes though due to the finish of this polish I would recommend a smoothing base coat if your nail beds are uneven..  I used three thins coats to reach opacity.  I did experience a little bit of bubbling but my top coat is getting low and a bit goopy so I'm pretty sure it was the culprit, not the polish.  Photos show three coats of Under The Waters with one coat of CND Supery Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Hello readers,
Today I have some stamped nail art to show you. This lacey looks feels kind of vintage to me and I love it.  I started out with a base of Different Dimension Solar Flares and then stamped the lace pattern using China Glaze Liquid Leather and Moyou London's Bridal Collection 07 plate.  Finally I sealed everything up with a coat of CND Super Shiney top coat.  Here's the finished look in daylight spectrum lighting.

Today I have a Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer that I recently bought from a destash.  My purchase seems like perfect timing because this shade has also just been re-released as part of the BEGL Fan Favorites Collection.

Monster's Tea At Tiffany's features a mint crelly base with green shimmer.  The formula was easy to work with and I used two coats to reach opacity.  Photos show two coats of Monster's Tea At Tiffany's with one coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Today I have some nail art to show you that I wore to a wedding this past weekend.  I started out with two coats OPI Fly, a teal creme.  Then I stamped on a peony design from Moyou Pro Plate XL 06 using Color Club What A Drag and . Everything was sealed up with a coat of Seche Vite.

Today I have a polish to show you from my last Different Dimension haul. I can never resist a good sale.

Solar Flares features a taupe base packed with pink flecked shimmer. The formula was a little sheer at first but layered up nicely becoming opaque in three coats. Otherwise the formula was very easy to work with. It dried somewhere between shiny and matte so a glossy top coat is recommended if you want shine. Though the pink shimmer does show in the photos below, it is even stronger to the naked eye.  Photos show three coats of Solar Flares with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Reverie Nail Lacquer MP-013 Swatches & Review

Today I have a mystery prototype that I got from Reverie Nail Lacquer during her last restock.  This was the first time she'd offered prototypes for sale so I had no idea what to expect.  You were allowed to say which colours you liked and/or disliked and Michelle picked out some awesome polishes for me.  Here is the first one that I've had the chance to try out.

MP-013 has a super shimmery light grey based with a strong blue flash, lots of iridescent glitter and medium round silver glitters.  The formula was thicker on this one making it a little tricky to work with.  However, I only need two coats to reach opacity so I'll probably just add some thinner and use three coats next time.  I think thinning the polish a little bit will also make it easier to get those larger silver circle glitters.  Photos show two coats of MP-013 with a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite in daylight spectrum lighting.
