Brand Challenge: Femme Fatale Cosmetics

Hello readers,
I've got another six polishes from my Femme Fatale Cosmetics collection to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.

Bottle Of Infinite Stars

Bottle Of Infinite Stars features a deep sapphire blue jelly base filled small pink glitters, medium pink and aqua glitter along with silver holo stars. The formula was fairly easy to work with, especially for a jelly glitter. The odd spot needed a bit of dabbing or nudging, but mostly I was able to just brush it on like normal. This shade does dry with with glitter bumps so you'll want to double up on top coat. Cold Wraith

Cold Wraith features a teal-blue jelly base filled with an assortment of blue, aqua and pink glitters and blue flecked shimmer. The formula was a bit thick, but this bottle of polish is many years old so it's likely an age thing rather than a reflection of the original formula. I need to add a little thinner. I used two coats here and used extra top coat to smooth out the glitter bumps. Photos show two coats of Cold Wraith with one coat of Paint It Pretty Polish Smooth It Out glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Nightsong Grotto

Nightsong Grotto features a teal green jelly base filled with an assortment of teal, silver and pink glitters from small to large hexes and dots. Another good jelly glitter formula. Occasion dabbing but mostly I could brush the glitters on without issue. Unsurprisingly you'll want to double up on top coat for this one too. Photos show three coats of Nightsong Grotto with one coat of Paint It Pretty Polish Smooth It Out glittler smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Sea Pony

Sea Pony features a medium purple crelly base filled with a variety of red, orange and silver glitters along with a hint of red shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with, especially considering the amount of glitters in there. I used three coats here for full coverage and doubled up on top coat for a smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Sea Pony with one coat of Paint It Pretty Polish Smooth It Out glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Vortex Remnants

Vortex Remnants features a plum purple jelly base filled with a variety of purple and red hex glitters along with red diamonds. The formula was easy to work with, though I recommend letting coats dry a little in between to avoid glitter dragging. This shade does dry with glitter bumps so you'll likely want to double up on top coat. Photos show three coats of Vortex Remnants with one coat of Paint It Pretty Polish Smooth It Out glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Wolfsbane

Wolfsbane features a deep sapphire blue jelly base filled with a variety of red and blue hexes along with a sprinkling of silver moon glitters. The formula was nicely pigmented. I used two coats for full coverage here. You'll want to double up on top coat for a smooth finished due to all those glitters.
