Today I have the new Honky Tonk Blues Collection from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. These polishes were inspired by Nashville, Tennessee and will be releasing at this year's
Polish & Beauty Expo. Let's take a look at swatches
Honky Tonk Blues
Honky Tonk Blues features a steely blue base filled with purple to green shifting shimmer, scatter holo shimmer, small glitters in shades of blue, yellow and pink, and purple iridescent flakes. The formula was relatively easy to work with. I used three coats here but it was so close after two that two may be enough for some. This shade does dry down with some texture so top coat is recommended. Fiddle Me This
Fiddle Me This features a lime green tinted base filled with pink to green to gold shifting shimmer and small hot pink glitters. The formula was very easy to work with and took three coat for almost full coverage. My nail lines show through a tiny bit but the shimmer and glitters break it up nicely. This does dry with some glitter bumps so top coat is recommended for a smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Fiddle Me This with one coat of What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Hot Chicken Summer
Hot Chicken Summer features a bright tangerine orange jelly base filled with golden shimmer and small glitters in shades of yellow and hot pink. Another easy three coats formula here. Nashvegas
Nashvegas features a warm purple jelly base filled with a super strong fuchsia to gold to green shifting shimmer and small cobalt blue glitters. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. It does dry down with some minor glitter bumps so top coat is recommended. Seize Every Opry-tunity
Seize Every Opry-tunity features a bright sunny yellow jelly base filled with pink shimmer and small hot pink glitters. The formula was very easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Top coat to smooth out those little glitters is recommended.
