Hello readers,
Today I have the August release from Emily de Molly to share with you. This collection features eight new shades in their jelly/crelly with white glitters finish. Let's take a look at swatches.
Place The Bets

Place The Bets features a neon chartreuse green crelly base filled with small to medium white hex glitters. The formula took a bit of work. I found the glitters in this one needed some nudging to spread out evenly. It does dry down with glitter bumps and with a satin finish so top coat is strongly recommended. Photos show two coats of Place The Bets with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Maker's Note: The formula on this one is not that great, this is unfortunately quite typical of neons and especially yellows.
But if you wait for your first layer to be dry and then use a thick second coat, you should have minimal problems. I recommend shaking this colour very well before use.

1000 Times features a neon red crelly filled with matte white hex glitters. The formula was easy to apply, though I recommend waiting a little extra time between coats to avoid dragging. I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of 1000 Times with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Paper Tiger features a burnt orange jelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for 95% coverage. In my pictures under bright lights my nail line show through a tiny bit. To the eye at the time it looked opaque. Photos show two coats of Paper Tiger with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Some Sort Of Voodoo features a blueberry blurple jelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. The formula was excellent and nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. All In One features a lime green crelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of All In One with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Desert Flowers features a berry purple jelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. The formula was excellent and very easy to work with. I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of Desert Flowers with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Middle Ground features a yellow-orange crelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. The glitter in this one seemed to sink in the bottle more easily than others. I found I had to fish for glitters to get a decent amount on the nail. Photos show three coats of Middle Ground with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Update: This shade has been reformulated since the original bottles were sent to swatchers. The new base should suspend the glitters better so you should end up with more glitters on the nail, similar to the other shades in this collection.

The Chosen Few features a bright aqau blue jelly base filled with matte white hex glitters. My camera did not get along with this colour and I struggled to capture it accurately. The macro above is quite close. The nail swatches below lean more true blue than the polish looked to the eye. The formula itself was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of The Chosen Few with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
My personal favorites from this collection are Some Sort Of Voodoo and Some Sort Of Voodoo, though that's really just my love of blues speaking. The August release will be available on August 10th, 2021 at 10AM AEST on the Australian site and August 9th, 2021 at 8PM EDT on the US & International site. You can find Emily de Molly on
