Today I have Paint It Pretty Polish's contribution to the March Polish Pickup release to share with you. March's theme is Birds & Butterflies and Paint It Pretty was inspired by the violet backed starling. Let's take a look at swatches.
Free As A Bird features a foiled multchrome base that shifts from a deep blurple to fuchsia to magenta filled with flakies in shades of purple, magenta and gold. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented. I used three coats here, but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. This shade does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Free As A Bird with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
