Hello readers,
I'm continuing to swatch my way through my Emily de Molly collection. Let's take a look at swatches.
Blue Prediction
Blue Prediction features a medium blue jelly based filled with silver large particle shimmer and a variety of silver holo hex glitters. The formula took three coats for full coverage and does dry down with some glitter texture, so you'll probably want to double up on top coat. Photos show three coats of Blue Prediction with one coat of Watcha Top Glitter and one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Lace Man
Lace Man features a pale purple-leaning grey base filled with a pink shimmer and tiny iridescent flecks in shades or orange and purple. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries down to a satin finish to top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show two coats of Lace Man with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
The Glaring
The Glaring features a sapphire blue jelly based filled with an emerald green shimmer and a variety of silver holo hex glitters. The formula was nice to work with. It was pretty much full coverage after two coats, but I added a third for some extra depth. Turbulence
Turbulence features a cobalt blue jelly base filled with a variety of hex, circle and diamond glitters in shades of silver, red, blue and green. The formula was fairly easy to apply, though I occasionally had to nudge some of the larger glitters around. This is another polish that really benefits from some extra top coat for a smooth finish. Oceanic Forces
Oceanic Forces features a deep teal blue jelly base filled with small turquoise holo glitters and large teal circle glitters. I used three coats for full coverage. If you have curved nail beds like me, you'll probably want a second coat of top coat to smooth out the big dots. Photos show three coats of Oceanic Forces with one coat of Watcha Top Glitter and one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Dark Depths
Dark Depths features a sapphire blue jelly base filled with scatter holo shimmer and small blue glitters. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. Considering the amount of glitter in there it dried fairly smoothly, but I still recommend top coat for a perfect finish.
