Hello readers,
Today I have some new chrome powders and water based top coat I recently got from Born Pretty Store to share with you. Let's take a look.

For this design I started with a base of Girly Bits Cosmetics It's Definitely Him, a black creme. I then added a coat of Baroness X Bind & Burnish base coat to create a tacky layer for the chrome powders to stick to. After waiting a couple minutes for the sticky base to dry down, I rubbed the powders onto my nails using a sponge applicator. On my index and pinky I used the blue (#8), on my middle finger I used the purple (#6) and on my ring finger the teal (#14). To seal everything up I added coat of the BPS Water Based Top Coat, waited for it to dry and then added a final coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat. Photos were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.

Final Thoughts
Overall I think this worked out pretty well even when using the powders with regular polish instead of gel polish. I was able to maintain a pretty chrome-like finish by sandwiching the water based top coat between the powder and my regular top coat. You can find Born Pretty Store on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
