Hello readers,
Today I have Emily de Molly's upcoming March release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Be The Solution
Be The Solution features a beige tinted based filled with silver holo microglitters and an icy purple shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thing coats for full coverage. It also dried surprisingly smoothly for a microglitter. Photos show two coats of Be The Solution with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Leaking Words
Leaking Words features a medium teal (cold) to pale blue (warm) thermal base filled with orange to green shifting iridescent flakies. My camera struggled a ton with this polish and made it lean much more true blue in the photos than in real life. The macro shot above is an accurate representation of the teal cold state. The formula itself was excellent. I used three coats for full coverage but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. Shades Of Night
Shades Of Night features a deep purple based filled with a super strong red to bronze shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent taking two thin coats for full coverage. Makeshift Wings
Makeshift Wings features a pale grey-purple crelly base filled with large particle green to blue shifting shimmer. The green shimmer is more evident in direct bright light and the blue shift comes out in muted lighting. The formula was easy to work with and took me three coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after two that two may be enough for some. This shade does dry to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Past, Present, Future
Past, Present, Futures features a deep blue base with a strong red to gold to green shifting shimmer and tiny silver holo flakes. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Intensity
Intensity features a saturated cobalt blue crelly base filled with small to medium white hex glitters. The formula was great. No issues with glitters piling up or drying down super bumpy. I used to coats here for full coverage. This shade does dry to a waxy finish so top coat is recommended. Consider The Source
Consider The Source features a medium muted purple base filled with orange to gold to green shifting flakies, blue iridescent flakies and tiny silver holo flakes. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Give The Act Up
Give The Act Up features a pale muted blue base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of green, blue and orange along with tiny silver holo flecks. Another great formula with this one. I used two coats for full coverage. This does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish.
