Alter Ego Polish Pickup April 2020 Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
Today I have Alter Ego's contribution to the April Polish Pickup release to share with you. This month's theme is Aquatic Wonders and Alter Ego was inspired by the puffer fish. Let's take a look at swatches.

I Huff And I Puff!

I Huff And I Puff! features a shimmery yellow base filled with tiny yellow flecks and red microglitters. The formula was very easy to work with and took three thin coats for full coverage. It does dry down some slight texture from the microglitters but nothing that top coat can't take care of. Photos show three coats of I Huff And I Puff! with one coat of OPI Plumping Top Coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Hit The Spot Mini Moisture Stick Trio

The Hit The Spot trio features a variety of lotion bars but in twist up stick form. Made from beeswax, unrefined shea butter and unrefined cocoa butter these are great for that dry winter skin. This trio includes one unscented stick and two scented sticks exclusive to PPU. The two scented versions are Twin Waterspouts (making a comeback from the Weather Phenoma PPU) and a new aquatic scent called Pufferfish Pout.

Final Thoughts

I Huff And I Puff! and the Hit The Spot trio will be available on the Polish Pickup website from 11AM EST on April 3rd, 2020 to midnight on April 6th, 2020. I Huff And I Puff! will be $9.50 and the Hit The Spot trio will be $7 (that's basically B2G1 free compared to Alter Ego's normal pricing).
