Hello readers,
Today I have the Violet Voss Rainbow eyeshadow palette to share with you. There has been a full size version of the Rainbow palette around for a while, and though I was tempted by the colours, I ended up deciding I didn't need it due to the giant pans that I would never make a dent in. However, when the smaller fun sized version got release last month I caved. Let's take a look at swatches.
The Rainbow features 10 shimmery shades, though technically the black has a matte base with glitter. The eight colourful shades lean more to a satin shimmer finish, where as the white is a bit chunkier and the black is a matte with silver glitter specks.

First Impressions
First off, that white is not actually white at all. It has pale purple undertones with a strong white gold sheen. At first I thought I had forgotten to clean my brush after the deeper purples, but I swatched it again with a definitely clean brush and got the same result. The two right shades in the top row look similar in the pan, but one is definitely more green and one more blue. The two purples in the bottom row however are pretty similar and I think they could have varied those two a bit more. You can find Violet Voss on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
