Hello readers,
Today I have some detailed reverse stamped nail art I did using my new double ended liner brush from Born Pretty Store. I already had a nail art brush set that I bought off ebay years ago but found the really fine brushes were difficult to work with. Let's take a look at how my new brush worked out.
I started with a base of Tonic Polish Uniporn. Then I used OPI Press * For Silver and Moyou London plate 07 from the steampunk collection to pick the design outlines. The I used the fine nail art brush to fill in the small triangles in the design that was later applied to my middle and ring finger with Essie Garden Variety. For my index fingers design, I filled the center of the tear drop shape using the Essie bottle's brush, then did the last bit at the edges using the fine nail art brush. Once everything was coloured in on my stampers, I applied a coat of CND Super Stickey base coat to my nails and stamped the designs over top. A coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat sealed everything up. Photos were taken in daylight spectrum lighting.
My first impressions of the liner brush are good. I was able to fill in small areas and get up and close with design edges easily. I also didn't notice any negative effects from cleaning the bristles with acetone based polish remover. You can find Born Pretty Store on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
