Hello readers,
Today I have one of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer exclusives for members of the BEGLove facebook group to share with you. I have a lot (like a lot) of navy blues in my polish collection so something in that colour family has to be really unique for me to need it. The combo of shimmer, shift and flecks in this polish is just that.
Luminous Matter features a blue to purple shifting base filled with a really strong teal shimmer, small silver holo glitters and teeny iridescent flecks. The formula was a little thick but very pigmented. I used two coats here, but if you kept an eye out for sheer spots, you could do just one. This shade dries to a satin finish so I recommend a glossy top coat to really bring out all the shimmery elements. Photos show two coats of Luminous Matter with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze in daylight spectrum lighting.
This polish is gorgeous. In some lighting the blue to purple shift is more prominent, in others the teal shimmer takes over. Because it's so pigmented I think I might add a bit of thinner and make my bottle a true two coater. Be sure to join the facebook group to get access to this and other group exclusives. You can find Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
