Hello readers,
Today I have my November Birchbox to share with you. This is the first month Canadians got a sample choice option (yay!). I chose the LOC eyeshadow pencil in On Point, a silvery taupe. Let's see what else came in the box.
Living Proom Perfect Hair Day (Phd) Dry Shampoo | Full-size $28
I don't use dry shampoo so this sample isn't a good fit for me. I'll give it away to a friend. This sample is worth $12.60.
Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant | Full-size $32
At first I thought this was a spot treatment which I wasn't too excited about, but then I learned it's more of a toner which I can definitely use. I'm looking forward to trying this exfoliant out. This sample is worth $8.00.
Temple Spa La La LAgoon Aromatic Bath & Shower Gel | Full-size $18
Shower gel... how exciting. Ok, so maybe you can sense the sarcasm in my voice. This one is quite strongly scented, so I already know it's not something I'll buy but I will use this one up. This sample is worth $3.04.
My Daughter Fragrances Joyful | Full-size $85
I don't wear perfume, so this one will get swapped. This vial didn't have a size on it... so I'm going to guestimate a volume of 1.5ml making it worth $2.55.
LOC One & Done Shadow Stick - On Point | Full-size $12
This is the product I choice from the sample choice options. The colour leans more taupe in person but I still really like it. Since this is the full-size, it's worth $12.
Conclusion
Happy polishing,
Michelle

I was happy to see the sample choices this month to, maybe we will finally start catching up to the US Birchbox? I choose the Tati box, I love Embryolisse and wanted to try out the PhD dry shampoo.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a huge fan of the copper shadow shade in the curated box and I had already tried two of the other products in previous boxes, so I went with the usual box and a different shadow. Turns out I got the PhD dry shampoo anyways :P.
