Hello readers,
Today I have the recently released Beachy Brights 2 Collection to share with you. This release contains 5 returning shades from the original Beachy Brights 1 Collection released last year, the re-release of the Marisol color of the month along with six new shades. Let's take a look at swatches.
Bohdi
Bohdi is a vibrant peach creme. The formula built up nicely in two coats, just float your brush a little to get an even finish and avoid streaks. Photos show three coats of Fleur with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Taji
Yohanna
Yohanna is a hot pink creme. Though there was a soft blue pearl shimmer that showed in the bottle, on the nail it wasn't noticeable. I also noticed it appeared to dry down a bit brighter than it looked in the bottle. Another nicely pigmented formula. I used three coats here just to be safe but if you aren't taking photos under super bright lights I expect you'll be able to make it work in two. Alora
Alora is a strawberry red crelly. The formula built up nicely in three coats. Photos show three coats of Alora with two coats of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Avani
Avani is a bleached lime green creme. The formula was very easy to work with (a rarity for colours this bright) and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Avani with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Brinkley
Brinkley is a bright fuchsia creme with a subtle blue shimmer. The formula was great and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Brinkley with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Cove
Cove features a blue jelly base filled with blue shimmer, blue and holo glitters. The formula was nice to work with and didn't feel thick or gunky from the glitters. I used two coats here, you may want a third if you want even denser glitter coverage. Georgie
Georgie features a bright red jelly base filled with small red holo glitters and shimmer. Another nice glitter formula though I felt I got a little less glitter payoff than I did with cove. I used three coats here. Photos show three coats of Georgie with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Loni
Loni is a super bright coral pink creme. Another excellent formula for such a bright shade. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Loni with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Marisol
Marisol is a cerulean blue creme. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two coats for full coverage. It does dry down to a matte finish so you'll want top coat for shine. Soraya
Soraya is a bright orchid purple creme. The formula was fantastic. Other colours like this I've tried in the past have been quite finicky but I didn't have any issues with this one. Photos show three coats of Soraya with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Vita
Vita features a hot pink jelly base filled with violet shimmer and small pink and gold holo glitters. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Vita with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
Overall this is a really fun collection and the super bright shades had nice formulas to work with. My personal favorites are Marison and Soraya. The Beachy Brights 2 collection is available now. You can find Zoya on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
